John Whatley:

John is a professional percussionist, steel drummer, composer, arranger, and director. He has over twenty-five years of percussion performance experience and twenty years of percussion instruction experience. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music from Cal State Long Beach in 1994.
John is employed by the Huntington Beach Union High School District as a music educator. His current position is the band director at Westminster High school.

Michael Giovanni Charleston:
Michael Giovanni Charleston began playing drums at the young age of 7,
without the presence of any formal instructor. Joining his first band at
age 11 and recording his first album at age 13, it wasn't until Mike was
16 years old that he obtained his first professional paying gig. Mike's
instruction comes from a multitude of places, including his knowledge of
the famous Freddie Gruber technique, taught to him by a direct student of
Gruber. He also has been fortunate enough to sit down and study with rock
greats like Carmine Appice and recieve some first-hand advice on how to
teach one to express themselves on the drum-set. Aside from drum
instruction, Mike works as a music producer for independent films as well
as a freelance studio drummer and can be heard on several dozen albums and
recordings. Mike has played and performed with such local artists as
Verses Fate, Koda, Umbrella Thieves, Method Edge, Scarlet Crush, 20lb
Donkey, Jeff Sterzer and Matthew Martinec.
